Mark Regan MBE
Former England Rugby Hooker
Mark Regan MBE started his Test career against the Springboks 13 years ago, was a World Cup winner in 2003 and a finalist in 2007. He played an integral part in the most recent campaign, playing in five matches including the final and won 47 international test caps. Mark writes a regular rugby column that appears in the Bristol Evening Post, and has worked as a co-presenter on Radio 5 live. Mark has also appeared both as a mystery guest and panel guest on the sports programme A Question of Sport.

In detail
Having played an essential part in England's early 2008 RBS 6 Nations campaign, most notably in Paris, he then led the Barbarians to a 22-5 victory over South Africa at Twickenham. He had retired from international rugby in 2004 but made himself available, and was rewarded with a call-up for the tour of South Africa, where he started both tests and secured himself a World Cup place.
